Mindwrap announces version 7 of its renowned Optix solution; key features are enhancements to Optix Workflow, Optix Web, and server logging.

Mindwrap, inc. – a leading provider of document management and workflow solutions – today announced version 7 of their Optix Server. Optix 7 includes several enhancements, including major performance improvements and convenience features, which strengthen core Optix components. mindwrap plans to demonstrate the new functionality at the upcoming Macworld Conference and Exposition, January 11-14, 2005, at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, CA in booth #1448.

The new release features significant upgrades to Optix Workflow to improve metadata handling and to streamline work lists. Optix 7 also includes server logging enhancements which provide an automated mechanism for maintaining long-term logs for reporting and auditing. In addition, the new release will boost the power of Optix Web by reducing reliance on client-side Java to allow even easier deployment. Plus, Optix 7 adds useful convenience features, such as a “recently used” folder for users.
